What's New for 2027
The single biggest change for 2027 is the introduction of the Durango R/T 392 Plus trim, which fills a meaningful gap between the base R/T 392 and the R/T 392 Premium. It arrives with Nappa leather seats, a power sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, and black roof rails with integrated Stow 'n Place crossbars as standard equipment.
Beyond the new trim, Dodge expanded customization across the entire lineup:
GT HEMI gains a new Brass Monkey package featuring 20x8-inch Brass Monkey wheels (or 20x10-inch Forged Brass Monkey wheels when paired with the Tow 'n Go package) and black 345 fender badges with brass tracers.
R/T 392 adds the new Blacktop Redline package, which includes optional Redline dual racing stripes, Crypto Sweep interior accents, 20x10-inch Forged Y-Spoke wheels, Nappa and suede performance seats, and a performance lower splitter on Plus and Premium models. New options across the R/T 392 range include 20x10-inch Forged Brass Monkey wheels, red seat belts, and (exclusively on R/T 392 Premium) yellow Brembo brake calipers.
SRT Hellcat Jailbreak now unlocks more than 14 million customization combinations. It adds a new six-passenger seating option with black Nappa and suede seats and two new forged wheel choices: Forged Y-Spoke Machine Face and Forged Y-Spoke Foreshadow.
A security update across the full 2027 lineup prevents unauthorized key pairing and key fob duplication. New Pitch Black exterior paint is available on every Durango model.

GT HEMI
The entry point into the lineup and the most affordable AWD V8 SUV in the industry. Steps up to the 6.4L HEMI V8 with 475 hp and 470 lb-ft. Red Brembo brakes with 15-inch six-piston front calipers and 13.8-inch four-piston rear calipers are standard, along with 20x10-inch Forged Satin Carbon wheels, SRT performance pages, Launch Control, and Track drive mode.
R/T 392 Plus
New for 2027. Adds Nappa leather bucket seats, leather-wrapped door armrests and center console lid, power sunroof, black roof rails, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, Advanced Brake Assist, LaneSense, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and power fold-away mirrors.
R/T 392 Premium
Adds a Harman Kardon system, premium leather-wrapped instrument panel, forged carbon-fiber accents, suede headliner, and Brembo two-piece front rotors with optional yellow calipers.
SRT Hellcat
Powered by the supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 at 710 hp. Comes standard with 20x10-inch Machine Face wheels, 15.7-inch two-piece vented front rotors with six-piston Brembo calipers, Nappa leather and Alcantara seating, a flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, and a five-passenger configuration.
SRT Hellcat Jailbreak
Unlocks more than 14 million combinations through seven wheel choices, six badging finishes, five seating colors, and three seating configurations (five, six, or seven passengers). All Jailbreak models include exclusive carbon-fiber interior accents and a Jailbreak instrument panel badge.
Performance and Powertrain
The 2027 Durango is the only three-row SUV with an all-V8 lineup. Each engine pairs to an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission with AWD standard across every model.
Drive mode selectors vary by trim. GT HEMI includes Auto, Sport, Tow, and Snow. R/T 392 and SRT Hellcat add Track, Launch Control, and a Custom mode.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
The Durango seats up to seven in its standard 2/3/2 configuration. The SRT Hellcat ships in a five-passenger layout by default, with seven-passenger and six-passenger options available on the Jailbreak.
Front headroom measures 39.9 inches and front legroom reaches 40.3 inches. Second-row headroom is 39.8 inches with 38.6 inches of legroom. Third-row passengers have 37.8 inches of headroom and 33.5 inches of legroom.
Cargo behind the third row measures 17.2 cu ft. Fold the third row and that grows to 43.3 cu ft. With all rear seats folded, maximum cargo volume reaches 85.1 cu ft. A powered liftgate with key fob and cargo-area controls is standard on every trim.
Three-zone automatic temperature control with infrared sensors and rear-seat outlets is standard across the lineup, as are an N95 air filtration system, LED interior lighting with Sapphire Blue ambient accents, and covered cargo storage. The GT HEMI Plus and above gain ventilated front seats and heated second-row seats. GT HEMI Premium and R/T 392 Premium step up to a Harman Kardon 19-speaker system.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Every 2027 Durango ships with a thorough standard safety suite. Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, front and rear ParkSense parking sensors, ParkView rear backup camera, Electronic Stability Control, Ready Alert Braking, Rain Brake Support, trailer-sway control, Hill-start Assist, and a full airbag suite including a driver inflatable knee bolster are all included at every trim level.

Every 2027 Durango runs the Uconnect 5 NAV system on a 10.1-inch touchscreen. The system includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, integrated navigation with TomTom and OTA map updates, HD Radio, SiriusXM 360L with a five-year Traffic Plus and Travel Link trial, Amazon Alexa compatibility, and dual-phone Bluetooth connectivity.
