Uconnect 5 Platform

The Uconnect 5 system runs on a quad-core processor and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 8.4-inch version is standard across Tradesman, Express, Warlock, and Big Horn/Lone Star. The 12-inch portrait-format screen introduces a taller aspect ratio that displays more map detail and keeps controls within a natural vertical eye path. The 14.5-inch unit, available on Rebel through Tungsten, is the largest screen offered in any full-size pickup and presents split-zone content so the driver and passenger can see different information simultaneously on the same screen when the 10.25-inch passenger display is also equipped.

Front Passenger Interactive Display The 10.25-inch passenger screen operates independently of the driver's display. The passenger can browse navigation, adjust the sound system, or manage climate without interrupting anything on the driver side. This is a segment-first feature not currently matched by Ford, Chevy, or GMC in this class.

Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension

This is the standout mechanical-tech feature of the 2026 Ram 1500, and it is class-exclusive on Crew Cab configurations. The system uses four air springs instead of traditional coil springs and adjusts ride height automatically based on load and speed. At highway speeds the truck lowers to reduce drag. At the trailhead it raises to add clearance. When parked and loading groceries or gear, it drops to ease entry. The Crew Cab with air suspension can move through entry/exit mode, normal ride height, Off Road 1, and Off Road 2 settings, with ground clearance ranging from 6.7 inches in entry mode up to 10.7 inches in Off Road 2.

Trailer Reverse Guidance and Steering Control

The Trailer Reverse Guidance system overlays dynamic grid lines on the rearview camera feed to show the predicted path of the trailer as the driver backs up. The Trailer Reverse Steering Control system goes further by allowing the driver to steer the trailer using a rotary knob rather than the steering wheel, which is the method most people find counterintuitive. Both features are part of the Trailer-tow Group package available across the lineup.

eTorque Mild Hybrid System

On the 3.6L V6 and 5.7L HEMI V8, eTorque replaces the traditional alternator with a belt-driven motor generator unit connected to a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. The system contributes up to 130 lb-ft of torque at initial throttle tip-in on the V8 application, smooths cylinder deactivation transitions, and enables lower-speed torque converter lock-up for better fuel efficiency. The result is a truck that feels more responsive off the line without the complexity of a full hybrid drivetrain.

Tradesman and Express

Both trims start with the 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 and the full suite of standard active safety features. The six-speaker audio system is standard. The Advanced Technology Group (Head-Up Display and digital rearview mirror with tow mode) is not available on these trims, but the Trailer-tow Group and its reverse guidance tech are available.

Big Horn and Lone Star

The Big Horn/Lone Star opens up the 12-inch Uconnect as a package option and gains access to the Advanced Technology Group, which adds the Head-Up Display and digital rearview mirror with tow mode. The air suspension becomes available here. The Drowsy Driver Detection, Evasive Steer Assist, Intersection Collision Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition are all accessible through the optional Advanced Safety Group on this trim.

Warlock

The Warlock shares the Tradesman/Express screen lineup (8.4-inch standard, 12-inch available through packages) and gains standard 4x4 and an electronic locking differential. Off-road hardware takes priority here over luxury tech.

Rebel

The Rebel is where the 14.5-inch Uconnect becomes available (through the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group), along with the 10.25-inch passenger display, dual wireless charging pads (class-exclusive on Crew Cab with bucket seats), and the 19-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Plus audio system. The 12-inch digital instrument cluster is standard on the Rebel. The Advanced Technology Group adds the Head-Up Display. The 360-degree surround camera is part of the Rebel package at this level.

Laramie

The Laramie carries the 14.5-inch Uconnect through its Level 2 Equipment Group, plus the 10.25-inch passenger screen, the 12-inch digital cluster, dual wireless charging pads, and the 19-speaker audio system. The High Sport Package opens up 22-inch forged aluminum wheels as an option.

Limited, Limited Longhorn, and Tungsten

The 14.5-inch touchscreen is standard on these three trims. The 12-inch digital cluster is standard on Limited Longhorn and Limited. The Tungsten goes further with a standard dual-pane sunroof, a 23-speaker ultra-premium Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system, and the full-time 4WD transfer case (exclusive to the Tungsten's Hurricane HO engine). Drowsy Driver Detection, Evasive Steer Assist, Intersection Collision Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition are all standard on the Tungsten.

RHO

The RHO gets the 14.5-inch Uconnect through its Level 1 Equipment Group, a standard 12-inch digital cluster, dual wireless charging pads (class-exclusive at this trim), and the 19-speaker Premium Plus audio system. The RHO also gets Bilstein e2 Blackhawk active damping shocks with launch control and shift light, in place of the air suspension system available on other Crew Cab trims. Hands-free Active Driving Assist, the Head-Up Display, Drowsy Driver Detection, Evasive Steer Assist, Intersection Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and the digital rearview mirror are all standard on the RHO.
